Self -care medication without reading the leaflet can be dangerous, watchdog warns users

More than half of the Dutch do not read the package leaflet of self -care resources such as paracetamol, nasal spray and stomach acid inhibitors. Sometimes these medicines are taken in the wrong dosage or too long. For example, 20 percent of people use a nasal spray too long. Medicine watchdog CBG warns of incorrect use.
