HLN was able to put all the puzzle pieces together: that’s how the meeting between Premier De Wever and Israeli conductor was realized

Last weekend there was one photo that you could not really look at: Prime Minister Bart De Wever (N-VA) who shakes the hand of Lahav Shani, the Israeli conductor who was not welcome in Ghent. We were able to reconstruct how this special meeting in the German city of Essen was created. A spoiler in advance: De Wever did not only travel to the concert.
