Due to the strong wind, a tree has fallen over in Klazienaveen and ended up on a home. The fire brigade is present and cuts the tree into pieces to prevent further damage.
It is a historic building: the former Marechausseekazerne, which was built in 1902. After closing in 1965, the building was given various functions and later it was converted into a house. As far as is known, no injuries were made.
The fire brigade is busy sawing branches. Some windows of the house are broken and parts of the Boeirand have also been demolished
The Mr. Ovingstraat is currently closed to traffic.
