Since the opening in May 2024, Westerpunt has grown into a tourist attraction on the coast. The viewpoint, designed by Studio Moto, is located on the far western point of Belgium and offers visitors a panoramic view of the sea, beach, dunes and the Westhoek Reserve.
According to Mayor Wim Janssens, the award is no surprise: “The Westerpunt is without a doubt one of the most impressive places of our coast. That this Landmark has brought hundreds of thousands of visitors to De Panne in such a short time proves the power of this special project.”
