The footballers of TSG Hoffenheim have successfully started the new Bundesliga season.
Led by the outstanding German internationals Selina Cerci and Melissa Kössler, the TSG won 4: 1 (2: 1) at the end of the first match day at Carl Zeiss Jena and took second place. On Sunday there will be a direct duel with league leader Eintracht Frankfurt in Hoffenheim.
Cerci (8th/69th), top scorer of the pre -season, and Kössler (38th/50th) each scored a double pack and put on a hit. For Jena, Merza Julevic met for the interim compensation (18th).
