The real estate company via Outlets has appointed Marianne Wesselo as Regional Business Director for the Central Europe region. In this function, she will take responsibility for the shopping centers Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet in the Netherlands, Landquart Fashion Outlet in Switzerland and Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet in Germany, the company announced on Wednesday.
In future, Wesselo will be part of the Executive Leadership team from Via Outlets and reports directly to Chief Operating Officer (COO) Johan Bergenthal. It comes from the participation company CBRE Investment Management, in which she most recently worked as Head of Retail Asset Management for the Netherlands and Belgium.
Coo Bergenthal explained the background of the appeal: “The appointment of Marianne is a crucial step in the implementation of our organic growth strategy,” he said in a statement. “Our three outlets in the central region in Europe are ready for further growth. A strong regional leadership is the key to open up the full potential of these locations.”
The Dutch investment company APG belongs via outlets. The company currently operates eleven outlet centers in Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
