The accident on the A27 probably happened after a motorist had taken the wrong turn and tried to turn on the highway. A police spokesman confirms this on Sunday at the beginning of the afternoon.
The driver would have wanted to go to Antwerp, but discovered that he was driving on the road to Tilburg. He then decided to turn on the highway. A motorist who came to drive could not avoid the turning car and hit this car in the side. As far as we know, someone was injured in the accident.
The accident ensured that the connecting road from the A27 to the A58, towards Tilburg, was closed for a short time. The road was free again around noon.
