The Bundesliga has already started and soon the Champions League will start again. BVB professional Salih Özcan is then not there.

The “Deadline Day” is already over and the transfer window for the Bundesliga is closed. But in other countries, other rules also apply, which could lead to BVB losing a professional: Salih Özcan.

The midfielder was only on the lawn against St. Pauli at the start and was not used against Union Berlin. The 27-year-old is also not part of the Dortmund Champions League squad. BVB announced this on Friday evening – but Özcan cannot be found at the professionals mentioned.

Is he still leaving the Bundesliga club? According to the “picture”, the Dortmund Özcan do not necessarily want to hand in. Probably also because coach Niko Kovač appreciates him as a game type. However, the BVB would therefore be ready to transfer if the transfer fee should be correct.

The newspaper mentions around five million euros as the possible sum. It is not clear whether Özcan would like to change. Finally, the Turkish clubs Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are said to have shown interest. Özcan is not one of BVB’s regular players and still has a contract until 2026.
