Starting coach falls – and has to go into the emergency room

During the international break, Luis Enrique has time to devote himself to other things. However, an excursion by bike ends in the emergency room.
Start coach Luis Enrique from Paris Saint-Germain broke his collarbone. As his club announced on Platform X, the 55-year-old fell by bike and was taken to the emergency room. Enrique has to undergo surgery.
“Paris Saint-Germain wants to express his full support and wish him a quick recovery,” it said. More details have not yet been known.
Enrique took over the French as early as 2023. Before that, he was a coach of the Spanish national team, FC Barcelona and Celta Vigo and AS Rome. Last season he and PSG won the Champions League. In 2015 he already triumphed with Barça in the “premier class”.
PSG will play its next competitive game on September 14th in the Prince Park of RC Lens at home. After three match days, defending champion PSG leads the table of Ligue 1 with nine points.
