Great news from Finland’s ski jumping legend Janne Ahonen: A few months after his wife Tiia’s divorce, the 48-year-old found new love luck. He was able to keep his current relationship secret for a long time, but the new couple was caught during a concert visit at the weekend.
It was only last spring that Finnish ski jumping legend Janne Ahonen separated from his long-time wife Tiia. Only shortly afterwards a new love came into his life, as he revealed to the “Seiska” tabloid.
“It came unexpectedly. It often runs in life,” said the 48-year-old, whose new girlfriend “a little younger” than he is himself. “She is a nice person over everything. This is always the starting point,” added Ahonen with a smile.

What the Finn also revealed: his new girlfriend and he came together at the beginning of summer. So far they have not been seen together. The new couple flew opened only at a concert by the well -known DJ David Guetta in Tallin. But no problem for Ahonen.
“What have been in a relationship since the beginning of summer. I am surprised that nobody saw us together before,” said five -time world champions.
He only went to the concert at the request of his new partner, added Ahonen. “I myself am not a big fan of Guetta, but it was good and the performance was great,” he summarized the evening briefly.
Ahonen is still one of the most successful ski jumpers ever and also enjoys an excellent reputation beyond Finland’s borders. In the course of his career, he won two Olympic and ten World Cup medals. In the World Cup, he also won 36 individual jumping and ten team jumping. He was able to get the overall World Cup twice a total of four times five times.
