The Dutch national team starts the home game against Poland in the World Cup qualification with Memphis Depay in the basic team. The attacker is completely fit after he resumed the training at his Club Corinthians after a muscle injury and virus infection last week.
Depay hopes to be the top scorer of all time on Thursday. With fifty goals, the former PSV player now shares first place with Robin van Persie. Cody Gakpo and Xavi Simons are the other two attackers of Orange against Poland.
The midfield consists of Ryan Gravenberch, Tijjani Reijnders and Frenkie de Jong. In the center of the defense, Jan Paul van Hecke is preferred to Jurriën Timber next to captain Virgil van Dijk. Denzel Dumfries and Micky van de Ven are the wing defenders and Bart Verbruggen.
