The police will intensively check the places with the most nuisance. Thanks to systematic identity controls, the city wants to get clarity faster about who is responsible and at the same time create a deterrent effect. “Our police intervene decisively: witnesses are interrogated, suspects identified and parents approached. The checks give our services an extra instrument to act quickly in the event of new incidents,” said the mayor.

In addition, schools are also involved. Pupils who repeatedly cause nuisance lose the right to leave the school during the lunch break. In the police college, the mayor is now looking at whether the police presence can be strengthened in the evening and during the weekend. Extra cameras, preventive actions and propagations for troublemakers are also part of the approach.
