Climbing, falling, diving and getting up again: this is how you clamber over the Megastormbaan in Zoetermeer (video)

Have you ever rented a bouncy castle for a neighborhood party or children’s birthday? Think 33 bigger and you just have a mega storm track of 400 meters long. This colossus stands along the Oostweg and a lot of Zoetermeerders of all ages have a lot of fun on it. Tip: you no longer have to go to the gym in the evening, because it is a complete workout.

A bloated crocodile, shark, Western PubPalm island and more figures are the longest storm track in the country. Event location Gamecity in Zoetermeer rents around thirty inflatables every summer and places it in the grass strip along the road between Princess Maximaplein and Willem Dreeslaan.

Exercise with air

Gamecity works with time slots where you have an hour, under the watchful eye of employees, the time to indulge on the course. You get special socks with profile for more grip and the advice is to wear easily sitting clothing. Regardless of the temperature, you get it quite warm and sometimes sweating is blown. Because count on a combination of running, accelerating, climbing, sliding, pushing, falling and getting up again. After a few inflatables you can feel it hard in your muscles and panting.

Record time

How long you spend the first round on the 400 meter long job differs per person. There is no official list, but according to GameCity employees, some people take half an hour, others for fifteen minutes. But there are also times measured from five minutes and 3.50 minutes. Who knows, you might be able to do that faster!
