If it is up to the SGP, there will be a ban on porn, prostitution, gambling and drugs. The party also wants to invest strongly in the police and defense, with more F-35s and 500 FTE extra basic agents. This is evident from the draft election program that the SGP this morning present In The Hague.
According to the SGP, we see around us “the blasted woke and cancing culture, gender ideology, political opportunism and the idea that freedom is separate from responsibility.” On the other hand, the party says it puts “the Christian faith” as “reliable and timeless compass.”
Other things that the SGP wants to prohibit are social media use in children under the age of fifteen, and hormone treatments for minors in the context of transgender care. However, the party defends conversion therapy, in which mostly LGBT youth are forced to change ‘back’ by prayer healing and devil exit. According to the SGP, a ban on conversion acts “all kinds of fundamental rights” and threatens to hinder “good help and pastoral care to vulnerable people”.
Demonstration law
It is also striking that the party, now that there is frequent demonstration against the Israeli genocide in Gaza, has more comments and comments about demonstration law. The SGP has devoted a whole chapter to anti -Semitism in the new program.
