Last weekend with the 85 million euro transfer from Nick Woltemade to Newcastle United, one of the craziest changes this summer was perfect. Well, with a few days off to the exciting events, the German international once again spoke to the fans of VfB Stuttgart.

Two days after the transfer Nick Woltemades from VfB Stuttgart to Newcastle United was reported as perfect, the 23-year-old turned to his over 360,000 followers via Instagram.

“It was important to me to say goodbye again personally. There was a lot going on in the last few days, so I took a few days to find the right words,” said Woltemade in his statement, which was primarily aimed at the supporters of VfB Stuttgart.

“I can only thank you for the last year. Thank you for the moments that we have created and experience. I also do not demand that you can understand my step. As a footballer, I want to achieve the highest possible. I now play Champions League and in the best league in the world and I am also looking forward to the striker, who scored a total of 36 competitive games for the Swabian and 18 goals.

Woltemade expressed an understanding of the part of the Stuttgart supporters, who resent his late switch to the English Premier League, especially since the attacker was previously traded as a possible new addition to FC Bayern for weeks.

Woltemade thanks VfB Stuttgart

The 1.98-meter hunter promised: “I will stay Stuttgart fan and will continue to look at every game if I can. But I’m also athlete and that’s my job, I decided on the next step that I wanted to go and I’m also looking forward to the task now.”
