At RB Leipzig, the departure of striker Loïs Openda is closer. The Belgian national football player is said to have received the release for negotiations with Juventus Turin and is already on the way to Italy.
As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and “Sky” report, the clubs agree on a loan with a later purchase option.
The overall package should be well over 40 million euros.
Openda came to Leipzig only two years ago from RC Lens for 40 million euros and still has a contract until June 30, 2028.
After a strong opening season with 28 goals, the 25-year-old remained well below the expectations in the past season with only 13 competitive fights.
Also Elmas and Geertruida before jumping
In addition to Openda, permanent loans Eljif Elmas, who is probably returning to SSC Naples, and Lutsharel Geertruida, who is about to settle with AFC Sunderland, are also before the jump.
The 25 -year -old Dutch came last summer and was under contract with RB until June 30, 2029, but was unable to assert itself properly on the right full -back position.
The Danish center forward Conrad Harder by Sporting Lisbon is to be hired shortly before the transfer closes. The 20-year-old scored 13 goals last season and also scored in the Champions League.
