The Rookie of Racing Bulls hits the third place for the first time in Formula 1 after keeping up to Leclerc and Russell: “I’m ready for anything happens in the future”
The weekend in Holland is one of those who Hadjar will hardly forget: the first career podium in Formula 1 has arrived in Zandvoort after departure from the fourth box, his best so far. The Frenchman is making himself known to be positive among the numerous debutant rookie in 2025: the growth path culminated with this third place that arrived after having held Leclerc and Russell behind with its Racing Bulls, which returns to Top 3 after 1547 days and which well performs compared to the Red Bull. The excellent performance of the 2004 pilot may only make the leaders of the Red Bull proud, whose leaders are making a little thought for the next season …
The weekend in Holland
–
“Oh my God! What we did!”: The hot reaction of Hadjar via radio just crossed the finish line behind the platelets and Verstappen. The Frenchman materialized in the race as he could not have better after having mocked Russell in qualifying ‘stealing’ him the P4. From some race the performance of the Racing Bulls are under everyone’s eyes, especially if compared with a difficult Red Bull of difficult management, even for the four -time world champion. Isack is also aware of it and immediately congratulates the team (“The rhythm was unreal, unreal. Oh, thanks guys, what a car”), then running in the arms of its mechanics, under the podium to celebrate. If at the end of the race he betrayed the emotion of a young man who has achieved a goal so much dreamed, at Sky Sport is fully confident of himself and his skills: “I will be a little boring, but this result is something that I have always imagined: I go up on a podium of Formula 1 and I see myself doing much more than this. I am very happy that it happened, I can say that I got on a podium of Formula 1, but I have not finished here.
Next Red Bull driver?

While remaining focused on the present, Hadjar’s thought cannot fail to go to the future: “What a message sends a race like this in the world? That I am good, that I can guide, I can guide fast. I can guide anything. Just not a MotoGP: here, I don’t know how to do”. Being in the Red Bull family since 2022, the promotion seems almost obvious also given the non -bright performances of Tsunoda alongside Verstappen. In Sky he was asked if he feels ready to support the Dutchman, the answer was not long in coming: “I’m ready for anything happens”.
The debut in tears
–
In the Red Bull Youth Program since 2022, this year the promotion in Formula 1 with the Racing Bulls of Faenza has arrived in place of Liam Lawson, initially in Red Bull and then returned to the wheel of Vcarb 02 to the current season. His adventure among the adults did not begin in the best way: in the opening Grand Prix, in fact he lost control of the single -seater in the reconnaissance, not consequently playing the race. When returning the pits, he cannot hold back his tears and is consoled by Hamilton’s father. Those who did not prove to be so much Clement was the consultant of Milton Keynes, Helmut Marko who has accused his attitude as ‘painful’. In the Netherlands, fifteen races later, the Austrian is obliged to change their mind, opening the doors of the team: “Hadjar in Red Bull in 2026? We will make a decision further on. He is making impressive progress and today he has not committed the slightest mistake even if he was subjected to the pressure of Leclerc and Russell. He has shown that he is an incredible champion”.
