Eintracht Frankfurt has given an outstanding Ritsu Doan in the Bundesliga the second win of the season. Doan scored twice for Eintracht at 3-1 (2-0) at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (17th, 26th minute).
The third goal for the Frankfurters, who go into the international break with six points and 7: 2 goals, achieved Can Uzun (51.). Grischa Prömel scored the honor goal in the final phase (90.+1).
“I think the first goal helped extremely. It was a door opener that we really had our foot in the game”analyzed Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller.
The game started directly, both teams were noted from the self -confidence obtained from the winning victories. The Frankfurters, who had to do without the battered Jonathan Burkardt and Mario Götze, had more ball possession at the beginning, but the Hoffenheimers lurked on quick switching moments, especially on the left side with Bazoumanana Touré. Tim Lemperle, who pulled out for the hosts of half -left, had the first relevant conclusion, but Michael Zetterer was unable to get into trouble after a quarter of an hour.
Dream Schlenzer And great combination – Doan hits double for Frankfurt
The first end of the guests three minutes later was significantly more dangerous: Doan moved from the right after a throw-in and swilved the ball in the top left in the corner of Frankfurt in the top left. It was not an initial phase with many chances – but Eintracht didn’t need many. The eleven of Dino Toppmöller switched from a ball win in the 26th minute at lightning speed, Arthur Theat put on the left into the penalty area on Jean-Matteo Bahoya, which kept the overview, found the Doan, which was in the sixteen, with a great cross pass and the Japanese only had to complete. As in the previous week against Werder Bremen, guests used their occasions directly ice cold.
The cold -caught TSG tried a quick answer, Fisnik Asllani missed the Frankfurt goal only by a few centimeters in direct return after 0: 2 with a shooting shot. Frankfurt’s Burkardt replacement Elye Wahi would have had to set 0: 3 in the 36th minute, but somehow the Frenchman managed not to go into the goal on the line and Robin Hranac still came in between (36.). Instead, on the other hand, the TSG cheered – but only briefly: Lemperle prepared the supposed 1: 2 by ASLLANI after a quickly executed free kick against inattentive Hesse, but was very thin out in the offside (40th). The Frankfurt break was okay, but the TSG was by no means without a chance and had brought the defensive of the guests into an argument several times.
Frankfurt shocked Hoffenheim directly again
Hoffenheim started the second round with energy, but was slowed down again after six minutes: After a long ball, Matchwinner Doan was a preparer for Uzun, who started in the back of the inaugurated Hoffenheim defense and freely had no trouble to make the game off. The Kraichgauer came to a conclusion again immediately after the goal, but Zetterer stopped in the short corner against Lemperle and parried with their feet (53.).
The three-goal deficit had visibly removed the wind from the hosts. Frankfurt consistently defended the lead and minimized the risk in his own possession. Both teams had one or the other opportunity for a fourth goal of the day, Baumann and above all the strong Zetterer in the 81st minute against Touré, but each more confidently.
Hoffenheim’s bustle again briefly causes unrest
In added time, Zetterer was beaten again: the substitute prömel pulled off the edge of the penalty area and the ball hit the overall deserved honor goal (90th+1). Around a hair, Prömel would even have caused a really tension after the flank from the right, but the ball headed past the post in centimeters (90.+2). In the end, Eintracht cheered after a spectacular and then, except for the last five minutes of ripening over the second success of the season, and established its role as currently the largest Bayern competitor. Toppmöller also saw it like this: “When the header goes in, it burns here again two minutes and that would have been totally unnecessary because we already had the opportunities to score one or two more goals here.”
“Frankfurt was simply very, very efficient. I think we did everything in the initial phase to take the lead. (…) In the end, we did not manage to pull the key moments on our side. And then you also saw that Frankfurt is simply a step ahead in all matters of decision -making on the offensive or conclusion to the end of the consequence”, “ said Hoffenheim coach Christian Ilzer.
