On Friday evening, the police of Amsterdam with the help of two civilians arrested a 40-year-old man in the act who tried to commit a sexual crime in Diemen. That is what the police have on Saturday reported.
Around 4 am a woman walked over the Zilvermeeuwpad, in the municipality of Diemen, bordering on Amsterdam, when she was attacked. At that time, two cyclists who did not trust the situation passed. They decided to turn and managed to overpower the attacker. Shortly thereafter they were able to transfer the suspect to rushed agents.
