In the general classification, the two -time tour winner from Denmark is still 2,33 minutes behind Treen. The Portuguese João Almeida is third, with a backlog of 2.41 minutes.

Bredewold wins GP Plouay for the third time in a row

For the third time in a row, Mischa Bredewold has won the Classic Lorient Agglomération, a one -day race from the WorldTour. After 165 kilometers in Plouay, the Dutch of SD Worx – Protime was ahead of her fellow countrymen Marianne Vos and Eline Jansen.

Bredewold went down 30 kilometers before the finish. The former European champion had difficulty hooking up again in the chase. When tour winner Pauline Ferrand-Prévot attacked uphill in the final, she initially had to let her go. In the end, a small platoon came together again, after which Bredewold was the best in the sprint.

“I didn’t crash,” Bredewold responded. “Even after the crash, the team continued to believe in me. They did it perfectly in the pursuit. Their support gave me wings.”
