From a German perspective, Borussia Dortmund opens the coming season in the Champions League.
At the start of the league with 36 teams, BVB will compete at Juventus Turin on September 16 at 9:00 p.m. This emerges from the schedule that the European Football Union UEFA published two days after the draw on Thursday.
For the German champion FC Bayern Munich, it starts on September 17th (9:00 p.m.) with an attractive home game, then club world champion FC Chelsea is a guest. Bayer Leverkusen begins on September 18 (6.45 p.m.) with an away game at FC Copenhagen, then (9:00 p.m.) Eintracht Frankfurt expects Galatasaray Istanbul to play the first game.
The leagueapse ends after eight encounters per team on January 28th next year, followed by the co-rounds. The best eight clubs qualify directly for the round of 16. The clubs in places 9 to 24 games in an intermediate round for progress. The international season ends for the teams in ranks 25 to 36. The final will take place on May 30th in Budapest. The mode is the same as at the premiere last season.
