The first report of the fire on the Wheredijk was made just before 2.30 pm. The fire caused a lot of smoke development.
The emergency services have been called on large -scale to extinguish the fire. The fire has not been skipped to other houseboats.
The safety region suspects that roofing work was the cause of the fire.
