Joop bought one of the smallest encyclopedias in the world and that turned out to be a great deal: ‘I paid two quarters for it’

“A nice priegeldetje,” Joop Storm calls his German mini-encyclopedia from 1896. So it was not a love for the German language and also no excessive interest in encyclopedias that made him decided to put down two quarters for miniscule booklet: he just thought it was a comic object.
