A motorist has knocked over a traffic light this morning in Coevorden. It went wrong at the intersection of the Europaweg and the UN-Laan. Due to an unknown cause, the driver overlooked the pedestrian light.
The car came to a stop on a lawn a little further. No one was injured, but the car was damaged. The police are investigating how the accident could happen.
