Linda de Mol is not happy that her brother John de Mol brought in the absorbed juice queen Yvonne Coldeweijer for her own gossip show on Net5. “Just sink.”
Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies even closer: John de Mol understood that expression. It is of course not for nothing that at some point he had contracted all bosses of the gossip magazines for Shownieuws, namely Evert Santegoeds (private), Guido den Asteker (Story) and Bart Ettekoven (formerly Weekend).
“Well, no!”
Now he has also put Yvonne Coldeweijer under contract, possibly to be the case that the abdication juice queen would open her juice stall again and become a publicity danger for the moles. Before she stopped her juice channel, Yvonne had a long time focused on Linda de Mol and her sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen.
What does Linda think that she will now become Talpa colleagues with Yvonne? It Ad Does it ask her: “Was you cheering when Yvonne Coldeweijer was brought in by your brother at Talpa for his own program at Net 5?”
Linda’s answer? “Well, no!”
Tough time
Yvonne has taken Linda and Jeroen a lot. “You know, I have had a tough time. And are many people in the media I was hurt by. That list is longer than just Yvonne Coldeweijer. I have thought for a long time: this is going to be in my bones. All in it, I don’t want this anymore.”
She was done with many more people, such as Angela de Jong, Beau van Erven Dorens and Rob Goossens. “I wanted to stop everywhere and have nothing to do with the media world. I have not actually watched talk shows for a long time. No more Boulevard, no more Shownieuws.”
Not so important
During the Mediarel, Linda wrapped over ‘dirty Jeroentje’ for a long time. “Now there was a situation where I was blamed for things that I knew nothing about and couldn’t do anything about. That came from people I worked for years. Whom I have always spoke to it kindly. That chopped like that.”
“But you can very much sit in the role of: yes, those media, it is all in common and it is not all true, but that doesn’t work. I started to try not to make those people with all those opinions so important.”
Unexpected
Linda is now doing well. “But I needed three and a half years for that. The lawsuit has been over. I couldn’t say anything all the time. For me it is now closed. I have made a decision that people did not expect from me.”
She refers to her love reunion with Jeroen. “Yes, people may not fully understand that, but you will still have to know someone for that. And know what is true and foolish of what is being written.”
