YLE news anchor Tommy Fränti is currently on his honeymoon Virpi with. Tommy has published several pictures on social media on the trip.
Judging by the publications, the couple are on holiday in Greece on the island of Crete. In sunny holiday photos, palm trees, bright blue sea water and of course a couple themselves.
– So much we wonder if the glass is half full or half empty. Full things are always full, empty empty. When the heart is full, everything is just fine, Tommy writes in one picture in caption.
Tommy has added a fun story to the comments in the publication.
“My beloved wife, who had been singing in the girls’ trip and in the same restaurant.
Next, a jug rak appeared at the table, which they had enjoyed together.
– Three teachings: Cretans remember valuable encounters even for years. Good always comes to the good. I have a pretty lovely wife.

Tommy and Virpi got married in November last year. The couple met each other in February 2023 and fell in love at first glance.
Fränti remained a widow in 2022 when his wife and children’s mother Sarah Kovero died of cancer. Kovero was 44 when he died.
In July, Fränti visited Tuija Pehkonen’s Love Stories podcast, where she told her perception of love. He said it could be difficult for an outsider to understand how a person who has experienced sadness can be happy.
– Sadness and happiness do not exclude each other. No one outside should determine how life should go.
After the death of Kovero, Fränti did not deliberately searched for another person, but wanted peace. Peace was found when the love of life was found.
“It’s peace of being close to him,” says Fränti.
