FC St. Pauli wants to hire Martijn Kaars from 1st FC Magdeburg. This is known because fans were able to read an email between the clubs. Magdeburg is angry.
What looked like a false report turned out to be a real message: 1. FC Magdeburg and FC St. Pauli actually have discussions about a transfer by striker Martijn Kaars. However, this had not become public by a medium or a transfer insider, but by breakdown with the second division club from Saxony-Anhalt.
As part of the U23 game of the 1st FC Magdeburg against the BFC Dynamo yesterday, fans were apparently able to take a look at the laptop of sports managing director Otmar Schork and take photos of the email course with FC St. Pauli. It can be read from a offer for Kaars that is valid to Friday, which should be invited to a medical check this Thursday.
What triggered discussions at fans caused a lot of trouble in Magdeburg. “The 1. FC Magdeburg is deeply outraged that a photo of an email without consent and from the outside through a window that was darkened, was converted, made and spread due to an almost completely down-down scarf (which is meant to be blinds, editor’s note),” says a statement of the club. “There are clear legal regulations for this, which expressly prohibit the publication or passing on of such content. For this reason, we have already filed a complaint with the police. With this behavior, the person who took the photo has caused FCM massive damage.”
Kaars is one of the best strikers in the 2nd Bundesliga, scored 19 goals in 33 games last season and prepared six more goals. He started the current season with three goals in four games. Magdeburg would hit the loss of the Dutchman Kaar. The association from Saxony-Anhalt could still present a successor by Monday.
