Lidl will bring a whole new kitchen device tomorrow Thursday. The Monsieur Cuisine kitchen assistant under Lidl’s own Silvercrest brand combines a food processor and smart device.
The first version of the device went on sale in 2014 and, according to Lidl, has been popular especially in Central Europe, but this, or other brands of other brands, have not been seen before.
For example, the device can weigh, chop, chop, cook, steam, roast and foam, and form the dough. There is a recipe bank on the smart side where you can choose from instructions that fit your own finances.
Once the recipe has been selected, the device tells a large touch screen step by step, what ingredients are added to the container and determines what function it uses and for how long. Several dishes can be prepared from start to finish on the device itself. The device can also be used manually to select the functions you want.

The kitchen assistant also has a cleaning program that can be washed at the end of the cook. All cooking containers and equipment on the device are also machine washable.
At first, about 300 recipes in Finnish are available, but the range is promised to increase monthly. You can also design menus and add your own recipes to the device. A language -friendly user can also use non -Finnish recipes. According to Lidl, for example, in Germany, there has been a community around the device where users share their own recipes to others.
Alongside the device, there is also a smartphone application that you can make, for example, a shopping list.
There is a lot of discussion on the online forums about Monsieur Cuisis. Some say it is a whole chef rescuer, some make it difficult to use because there are many steps to make a meal.
