It is the oldest sports boarding school in Italy and will welcome the new football levers, both male and female. Almost three thousand square meters that allow the Griffin to fill the gap from the top clubs
Now it is reality La Badia di Sant’Andrea, on the hill of the Erzelli, in the Genoese west, where the Genoa (the oldest club in Italy) has purchased, restored and renovated a structure that dates back to the 1100, which has now become the new house of the men’s and female youth sector of the Griffin. A story that was born from afar (here also stayed Pope Innocenzo IV in distant years), when in September 2023 the rossoblù company had given birth to a subscription (the so -called Genoa Bond) to finance the works: minimum investment of one thousand euros, duration of five years, gross annual interest of 9%. A sensational success, with 5.5 million collected in a short time and used, after the purchase of the building (2.2 million), for an imposing renovation of which the first phase has now ended.

There are currently 39 children in the youth sector hosted in the boarding school, which has a total area of 2954 square meters, largely already usable. The end of the works is scheduled at the end of 2026: in this way Genoa full of fact at the level of structures for the youth sector the gap from the top clubs.
