“Excursion deleted again, we are somewhat disappointed”: cruise ship with 8,585 people resumed travel after having driven around for hours

After a day full of excitement, the gigantic cruise ship MSC World Europe safely entered the port of Naples on Monday evening. On board: 8,585 people, including nearly 6,500 holidaymakers. The ship had become controlled for hours before the coast of the island of Ponza, when an electric defect was laminating the engines. “Now everything is technically in order again,” says De Vlaming Tom Lauwers. “The ship left for the next destination with a delay, so that excursions have been canceled again.”
