Four cars bumped into each other on Tuesday morning at Europalaan in Kaatsheuvel, in front of the Efteling entrance. A driver was probably unwell behind the wheel and ended up on the wrong side of the road. There she bumped into other cars. Three people were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The woman initially drove straight, but at one point shot through the bushes and then drove a traffic light out of the ground. Then she ended up on the wrong side of the road. There she bumped into the other cars.
Three wounded
Three ambulances came to the scene of the accident. A total of three people were injured and taken to the hospital with the ambulance. The police also brought a grandmother with her grandchild to the hospital for a check -up.
The damage is great. There were fragments of the vehicles on the road. The cars were considerably damaged. A hoist company has towed three vehicles. One of the cars could continue driving.
Help from Efteling
The accident happened in front of the entrance to the Efteling parking lot. The security service, traffic controllers and the first aid of the amusement park immediately came to the rescue. They arranged traffic, granted first aid and drinks to those involved. Children also received a hug as comfort.
