Youp van ‘t Hek finds it more than understandable that both Art Rooijakkers and Malou Petter have left as presenters of the SBS 6-Journal News of the day. “Right gossip talk!”

With news of the day, SBS 6 is conveniently responding to his conservative viewers group. The news program scores solid and that is partly due to Wierd Duk, the Telegraaf journalist who regularly sits there. He was reportedly one of the main reasons that presenters Art Rooijakkers and Malou Petter left the program.

Right -hand gossip

Youp van ‘t Hek forgives the Malou, whom he calls’ skilled’. The comedian sees it as ‘a little stupid mistake’ that she started working on news of the day. “She now has a chance to get started with a real broadcaster. I think it will not be that long before she can work somewhere. She is too good for that.”

She acted on time, says the comedian. He continues in the Varagist: “In the meantime, I understand that Art Rooijakkers could no longer get all that right -wing gossip talk out of his mouth and nicely felled with it.”

Fabelfantast Wierd

According to Youp, news of the day is a ‘populist drink hour’. He has looked at it a few times and describes it as ‘superficial Telegraaf-TV’ with Wierd Duk as chief.

He continues: “There must also be that kind of programs because there are many people who can agree with the opinions of Fabelfantast Wierd Duk and associates, but that should not be presented by a journalist like Malou. Fortunately, she saw that on time.”

‘Idiot with hat’

Thomas van Groningen is now the new regular presenter, but according to Youp they should have chosen someone else: Arnold Karskens. “I mean that idiot with that cap, which was kicked out at unheard of the Netherlands.”

This emphasizes Youp Fijntjes that he finds news of the day at the level of unheard of the Netherlands. “And that art? He will present programs in Talpa in which mentally bruised candidates imitate a baked egg. His life also makes sense.”
