Teachers In the lower and secondary schools in Flanders, everything together are busy with more than 115,000 teaching hours with tasks other than teaching. That is one of the causes of the teacher shortage. “Every teacher has to teach priority. Other things are secondary,” says Flemish Minister of Education Zuhal Demir (N-VA).
