Bitter message for Eintracht Braunschweig: Midfielder Lino Tempelmann is seriously injured in the defeat in Karlsruhe. It fails for a long time.

Eintracht Braunschweig has to do without a service provider Lino Tempelmann for a long time. As the BTSV announced on Sunday afternoon, the midfielder contracted a bone bruise and a ligament injury in the ankle when playing against Karlsruher SC (0: 2).

The 26-year-old will be missing the Eintracht for weeks, it is said. “Lino, we wish you a quick and good recovery!” Writes the association for diagnosis.

Tempelmann was brought off his feet by KSC professional Nicolai Rapp on Saturday. After a short break, the center player could not continue (64th minute). Levente Szabo came into play for the remaining 25 minutes.

The diagnosis is hard. Tempelmann is one of the most important components of the team of coach Heiner Backhaus. Last season, the 26-year-old-at the time as a loan from FC Schalke 04-contributed seven goals and two templates in 18 competitive games. The BTSV then firmly committed the midfielder.

Tempelmann has also been used in every game in the new season. Now Backhaus has to do without him. On Tuesday, the BTSV will meet defending champion and favorite VfB Stuttgart (8:45 p.m.) in the first round of the DFB Cup. The following Saturday it goes against Arminia Bielefeld (1 p.m.). Not only these tasks have to tackle Eintracht without Tempelmann.
