The accident happened at the intersection between the Heerbaan and Gaversstraat. When turning the street, a Renault Clio collided a mini cooper. One of the occupants was slightly injured and was immediately taken to the hospital.
Due to the hoisting works and the cleaning of the road surface, the Heerstraat was closed for a while, but after freeing the street the road opened again for traffic.
