As a reflex act, and without giving many explanations, the Government responded hot to the scandal of these last 48 hours: he spoke to the one who opened his mouth, to which he broke the pact of silence that in the Italian mafia and in the films of “The godfather” is called “Omertá”. That unwritten pact says that no member of the group can go to police authorities, justice or press to incriminate their partners of the Nostra thing. Breaking the “omertá” – or in lunfardo, singing or beat – is considered an unforgivable betrayal that is sometimes paid with death.
Why did Diego Spagnuolo, the former exhausted and friend of the president and already dismantled head of the National Disability Agency (Andis) spoke? What can happen now in more, if the one who broke the covenant of silence is someone so close to Javier Milei? What remains for the rest? Does the libertarian “omertá” begin to crack?
These are disturbing questions that are asked in the Government after Spagnuolo spoke in several coimas audios of up to 800 thousand dollars per month paid by drug stores to keep their contracts with the State, money that, according to those recordings, ended up in the hands of the hermanic Karina Milei, who, as in the case $ LIBRA, again occupies the uncomfortable center of the scene. The audios with the sincericide of the official thrown are pornographic and include in the chain of collection the cousins Martín and “Lule” Menem, who do not casually report the presidential sister.
But how did these audios arrive at the hands of carnival streaming journalists and the Dataclave site? Speculations begin here: if one pays attention to ambient noise, it seems to be a recording that someone made without Spagnuolo realizing, while talking in confidence in the middle of a meal, perhaps in a public place. Who recorded it? Who knew that the official was so frontal and tightened? There are several who at this time affirm that Milei’s lawyer, who has a fame of Bocón, has already been expanding in those terms on what happens within the government. It was, then, to sit with him and turn on a recorder that was not in sight.
That, however, is the most flat and less conspiracy hypothesis. Because there is another worst: in the government, which attracts the attention of the audios is the precise ones that are conceptually, almost as if it were a discourse previously rehearsed by Spagnuolo, that is, a staging that allows the former simulate official who was surprised in his good faith. A way to throw the stone and hide the hand. In the Casa Rosada they believe that, knowing that their work continuity was in danger from the scandals in the area of disability -with the background of the veto that the deputies just rejected the president -, Spagnuolo perhaps tried to send a warning to their executioners or, last, take several positions. Then, the supposedly “stolen” audio would have fulfilled that end.
It is difficult to know if this is true because, while these lines were written, the former official continued without appearing. No one knew his whereabouts.
Before being thrown, the message that his surroundings had leaked to the media was that Spagnuolo had to continue in his position because, otherwise, he would be giving entity to what the recordings said. Which reinforces the idea that these audios were, in the background, a warning: “They do not get with me.” How to throw someone who knows so much and is also willing to ventilate it?
Moreover, the government first tried to resign in good terms, perhaps adducing “personal issues”, but he opposed and ended up running.
Hopefully Spagnuolo reappears fast. Just to check that it is well.
