Dow Jones-Henkel CEO Carsten Knobel does not assume broad price increases as in 2022. Selected products should become more expensive. The previous price increases were “inevitable” due to higher raw material prices, he told the Rheinische Post. Now higher prices for certain products are still expected, “for example, if we launch innovations that offer special added value for customers”.
For the current financial year, the manager expects profitable growth, but sees the economic development with concern. “At the beginning of the year we had hoped that buying the purchase in the second quarter, but now the uncertainty about future tariffs is still pressing the economy,” he said. No new savings program is planned to achieve higher results: “At the moment we see no need for major measures.”
