The De Wit attracted this summer is longer from the running with the foot injury he sustained in the match against Sparta than initially thought.
At first it was even thought that De Wit could travel more to Bosnia-Herzegovina for the away match against HSK Zrinjski, but that was canceled and now FC Utrecht has an absence of a few weeks.
“It is always disappointing to get injured, all the way in the phase in which we are in which we as a team and individual now,” De Wit says. “I am going to do everything to be back on the field as quickly and as quickly as possible.”
