Rob Verlinden (74) lets birthday pass by silently: ‘I never thought I was older than forty’

Shortly before TV Klusjesman Nico Zwinkels died, Rob Verlinden visited him in Spain to say goodbye and to recall their time at Eigen Huis & Tuin for the very last time. In the meantime, after a boisterous life, the gardener hopes to be 75 years old next week. “For me is a gift every day. Especially after everything I have experienced.”
