As the US portal “TMZ” reports, the investigation into Hogan’s last place of residence Clearwater (Florida) continues. A police spokesman said that several family members were spoken – including Hogan’s son Nick and daughter Brooke. In addition, numerous witnesses were interviewed and medical documents were requested. The investigators emphasized that this was due to the “special circumstances”.

Hogan’s widow Sky Daily confirmed to TMZ Sports that the so-called Phrenicus nerve was damaged during an operation-a nerve that controls breathing. This was “compromised”. It is still unclear whether the injury led directly to death.

It is unusual that no autopsy was initially announced. This had triggered doubts from daughter Brooke. She publicly questioned the official cause of death – a heart attack. According to TV station Sky Daily, an autopsy has now been carried out. The report has not yet been available, and the body has not yet made a cremation of the body.

Particularly sensitive: On the day of his death, an occupational therapist was at home at Hogan. The WWE star is said to have stopped breathing without warning-without previous chest pain or other signs. Hogan’s wife immediately alerted the emergency call.

From an internal police report, reports on the “TMZ”, it shows that the therapist spoke to the officials of a possible medical error. Accordingly, a nerve was severed in a medical intervention – unclear whether on the neck or heart. This conversation is also said to be documented on the police.
