“I want to take the next step in my career,” says the Belgian Anthony Descotte after his second training for FC Volendam. The 22-year-old attacker comes over from Sporting Charleroi on a rental basis. Last season the Belgian club rented him to FC Utrecht. “I didn’t play there the last six months after the arrival of Sébastien Haller.”
Multiple positions
At FC Volendam, Descotte wants to play a greater role in significance. Trainer Rick Kruys is happy with an extra option in the attack. “He can play on nine, ten and eleven.”
