The minor boy from the municipality of Emmen who was arrested last week for a stabbing in Coevorden is suspected of attempted manslaughter. The Public Prosecution Service Northern Netherlands announced this. A 22-year-old man from Coevorden was seriously injured in the stabbing.
The suspect will remain stuck for at least fourteen days longer. That is what the examining magistrate of the Northern Netherlands court determined.
The stab incident took place last weekend in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the center of Coevorden on Bentheimerstraat, near Rijnsestraat. Among other things, a trauma helicopter pulled out towards the site of the stabbing.
