From this Friday, August 22nd, the ARD will show an additional edition of the sports show. Every Friday at 11:10 p.m. there are summaries of the 1st and 2nd league in a new 45-minute program.
At top games, the Friday sports show sends directly from the stadiums from time to time. Otherwise, like the Saturday and Sunday programs, it will be produced in Cologne. From the coming season, ARD will have new rights to the Bundesliga.
The new sports show presenter Alex Schlüter says: “Of course, we have an absolute premium product with the Bundesliga game. There is a slightly later broadcast time, so maybe also a slightly different approach compared to the traditional Saturdays and Sundays at the sports show. In the end we will stay true to ourselves.” The Saturday and Sunday programs of the sports show remain unchanged.
At the premiere broadcast on August 22nd at 11:10 p.m., ARD football expert Bastian Schweinsteiger will be a guest.
