Wildlands Photo of the Week | Tricolor gloss starling feels at home among the tropical green of Rimbula

Liesbeth Roelfes from Stadskanaal took this intriguing Wildlands photo of the week in Rimbula, the covered tropical jungle in the animal park. At first glance, it seems as if the tricolor gloss starling, with its striking blue head, bright orange belly and shiny green wings, poses on a small balcony. In reality, the bird is on a metal part of an overgrown aircraft tail.
