Paul and Henny van Nierop from Deventer are also cheerful. They went on holiday in the South of France, but made sure that they were back on time to experience this spectacle. “We think it’s so beautiful, those ships are so cleverly put together. And we discovered this place a few years ago, so we came back.”
Nelly Kloosterhof is already shining. “Beautiful, hey? We’re sitting here so beautiful. All the ships that sail here later … I enjoy, really. What I’m most looking forward to? Just sit together, cozy. The bag with goodies goes along. Then you’re going home all day, and we go home again.”
