Sugar -free Fanta is now sold with a renewed recipe.
The recipe for Fanta Zero Sugar has changed. Hesburger talks about the reform in his Facebook publication.
– Are you wondering about the light color of Fanta Zero Sugar lately? It is not a mistake but the fact that the recipe for the drink has changed and today it is equivalent to Fanta can and bottle versions! Hesburger’s publication writes.
Coca-Cola Finnish Communications Manager Théa Sodi confirms the recipe change. However, this is not a very recent change, as Natri says that the recipe for Fanta Zero Sugar in bottles and cans changed already in 2024.
– This is a bigger European product development project that sought a better taste. The change was pretty big. Consumers from different countries were tested for different variants, and the highest score received a version, which was then launched.
Natri says that in the reform the color of the drink was lighter, but the juice content, for example, remained the same. He even says he was a little surprised by the fact that the reform in bottles and cans did not spark any feedback from Coca-Cola Finland from consumers.
– No comments have come. We waited for feedback when the change took place in the bottles, but I think consumers are used to developing tasting expertise.
