Local residents and friends baptize square in Vosselaar into Julespleintje: “That way she is always a bit with us”

The death of Jules Lyssens (11) has taken a bomb to many people, but especially in her village of Vosselaar the impact is great. A call on Sunday to burn a candle every evening was already followed en masse. Now local residents and friends want to renovate the square in Leeuwerikstraat into the Julespleintje. “We are there in good days, we have to be there now in these difficult days,” says Christel Nijs.
