The event in Wervik has modest roots. “Twenty -five years ago we started riding with a few friends with an old -timer. After a ride full of bad luck, we just decided to come together in a parking lot. Everyone who wanted to join. That has grown into what it is today,” says organizer Nicolas Galle.
Today the meeting attracts thousands of visitors and owners every year who proudly show their cars. For many it is a unique opportunity to bring their dream car on the track again. “My car is from 1974 and goes through the inspection every year without problems,” says owner Patrick Clement. “You have to recover and update something, but it still drives smoothly.”
