The table is full of yellowed newspaper clippings. Photos of monkeys, elephants, hippos. “That is my father,” says Henny Boer proudly, pointing to a photo of a gentleman who holds a monkey firmly in his arms. And from Henny herself? Hardly to find a photo. “This is also much more fun to see,” Henny jokes.
She points out a photo on which her father, familyus farmer, feeds small monkeys. “Bananas, a league cake and a cup of tea. They got. Every day at three o’clock, just like us at home.”
