Newcastle United won Jacob Ramsey from Ligakon competitor Aston Villa. The Magpies announced on Sunday the 24 -year -old midfielder’s commitment, which according to reports initially costs 45 million euros. Almost 6 million euros should be able to be added in bonuses. Ramsey is said to have signed a contract until 2030.
With Ramsey, Newcastles transfer expenditure on five obligations to EUR 146 million and thus move at the level of the last Champions League season 2023/24. This season, the Magpies compete again in the premier class. It is not far to the record editions of the 20222/23 season in the amount of 185 million euros. Before Ramsey, Anthony Elanga (23) for 61.4 million euros, DFB defender Malick Thiaw (24) for 35 million euros and Aaron Ramsdale (27) were obliged to rental fee of EUR 4.6 million. Antoñito Cordero (18) came free of charge.
Ramsey started playing football at Aston Villa at the age of six, at 17 years and eight months he made his debut for the professionals. In 167 missions he contributed to these 17 goals and 19 templates. Ramsey screwed its market value up to EUR 42 million by 2023, and after a few small devaluations he is currently being estimated at EUR 32 million.
